APRIL 20 - MAY 6
THE MIRACLE WORKER
Helen Keller is a historic figure to many. The Miracle Worker tells the story of how she and Annie Sullivan, her teacher, overcame so many obstacles. A show that proves that sometimes the blind can lead the blind to a far better place. William Gibson's play ran on Broadway and was then turned into a movie that won Academy Awards. Part of the Long Island Rep's focus this year on great American stories - and great American works.
Not seeing, but still believing.
A great story about overcoming obstacles and learning to live
A Long Island family of three heads off to Mexico for vacation before the son goes off to college.
When the man says he'd rather relax in the hotel room and around the pool than explore, the woman heads off on her own.
She finds a stranger on the beach who is not who he appears to be - and who will change all of their lives.
A comedy about what it means to leave Long Island at least for a vacation - and how we can be changed by the time we return.
